Le Bélier Foundry, Verac
The Le Belier foundry was chosen for its unique know-how in the automotive, aerospace and naval aviation industries, fields very close to cycling, where lightness and aerodynamics are essential.
Each year, nearly 6,000 parts leave this factory. The aluminium is melted down at 800 degrees and placed in a mould to make the 5 parts of the Angell frame, which are then assembled in an innovative way, without any visible welding. Meticulously polished, cleaned and prepared by hand, the components of the bike are about 2mm thick only, which is very thin in the market.
