All our bike models share the same core functionalities. However, the latest generation, including the Rapide Core and Rapide +, features electronic and technical improvements not available in other models. Additionally, the MINI E-Bike 1 stands out by working with the MINI E-Bike application, whereas our other models connect to the Angell application.

We advise you to choose the frame according to your preferences and your height:
- The S version has a low frame for easy access and is recommended for users between 160cm and 180cm tall.
- The M version has a high frame and is ideal for users measuring between 170cm and 190cm.

In accordance with French regulations, the motor provides electric assistance up to a speed of 25 km/h. However, you can use your legs to go faster.

Your e-bike adapts to your riding style in every situation. That's why our teams have designed three assistance modes to offer you optimum customisation, allowing you to prioritise range while adjusting performance:

FLY FAST: Deploy the full power of the battery from the very first pedal strokes, enabling you to reach a speed of 25 km/h in moments.
FLY DRY: Benefit from measured assistance without any extra effort on your part.
FLY ECO: Maximise your range by regulating/minimising assistance for energy-saving management.
FLY FREE: Ride without electric assistance, and why not without a battery to enjoy the exceptional lightness of your bike.

  • The Rapide Core in S version weighs 15.7 kg and 16 kg in M version.
  • The Rapide + in S version weighs 17.5 kg and 17.8 kg in M version.
  • The MINI E-Bike 1 in S version weighs 18.7 kg and 19 kg in M version.
    Our bikes can carry a maximum load of 120 kg, including accessories.

All our bikes are compatible with both Android and iOS (Apple) smartphones.

For all Angell bikes except the MINI E-Bike 1, the dedicated application is Angell:

You can use the GPS in two different ways:

  • By connecting your phone: Once your phone is connected to the bike, simply enter the destination in the dedicated application to start your journey. The instructions will then be displayed on your cockpit.

  • By using the cockpit: Select your destination directly on the cockpit without using your phone. Direction information will be displayed on the cockpit, provided you have agreed to the collection of your GPS data and this is not the first time you are making this journey.

Pricing - Payment and documents

There are several ways to complete your online purchase through our site:

  • By credit card: Mastercard, Visa, Maestro and American Express.
  • Via PayPal.
  • Opt for payment in installments with our partner Alma, in 3x.

Your invoice, along with the certificate of approval, will be sent to you by email within a few days of delivery.
If you have not received it, please contact us by email at support@angellmobility.com. Mention "Invoice [order number]" in the subject line.

Your certificate of approval will be sent to you by email within a few days after the delivery of your bike.
If you haven't received it, please contact us by email at support@angellmobility.com mentioning "Approval certificate" in the subject line.

Technical aspects

Absolutely. Thanks to the lightness of your bike, you can ride without assistance and without a battery. The internal battery allows you to continue enjoying the connected features.

Before using your bike, we recommend that you fully charge the battery.
Your charger has an indicator light that will turn green when your battery is fully charged.

Our bikes have an average range of 50 km, depending on factors such as outside temperature, gradient, rider's weight, and the electric assistance mode used. Since our bikes are among the lightest in their category, you can also ride without any electric assistance using the Fly Free mode.

Our battery is removable, lightweight (2.1 kg), and recharges in 2 hours. It locks to the bike with a key.

The battery also features two rear indicators to signal when you’re turning right or left, ensuring you ride in complete safety.

Please remember to lock the battery before each use to ensure stability and avoid damaging certain electronic parts of the bike.

Delivery and returns

Delivery times range from ten days to 4 to 5 weeks, depending on your location and the model ordered.

When you receive it, all you have to do is attach the pedals to the cranks, position the handlebars in line with the front wheel, and adjust the saddle. Then, you can charge the removable battery and connect your bike to your phone.

Our bikes, including equipment, are delivered fully assembled. There are just a few assembly steps to complete when you receive your bike.

Before using your e-bike, we recommend that you fully charge the battery.
Your charger has an indicator light that will turn green when your battery is fully charged.

  1. Download the latest version of the Angell application (or MINI E-Bike if it is MINI E-Bike 1) from the IOS or Android store
  2. Connect your fully charged battery to your bike and lock it
  3. Press one of the buttons on your bike
  4. Open your app, go to settings on the bottom right, click “add a bike”.
  5. Follow the steps on your phone
  6. Set up your PIN, preferences, and addresses
  7. Discover your city on your e-bike

If you have followed all the instructions and your mobile app says “Not found” or “bike already installed”, please contact us at support@angellmobility.com.

You are no longer interested in Angell, or do unforeseen circumstances force you to cancel your order? You can request the cancellation and full refund of your e-bike at any time before the bike is handed over to the carrier.

To do so, please send an e-mail to support@angellmobility.com. Once customer service has confirmed your request, the amount of your order will be refunded to your account within 10 working days.

When you receive your bike, you have 14 days to test it. If the bike does not meet your expectations, you can exercise your right of withdrawal during this period by sending an e-mail to support@angellmobility.com. Once the bike has been returned, we will issue a full refund. It is essential that you retain the original packaging and pack your order securely, as the carrier reserves the right to refuse the return if the bike is not packed correctly. Please note that the bike must be returned in perfect condition. If any damage is found, the cost of repairs will be deducted from your refund.

Angell Back warranty

You can add Angell Back insurance to your basket along with your Rapide Core to insure your new bike against theft for a period of 2 years.

If you have already purchased a Rapide Core without Angell Back cover and would like to add it, please contact us atsupport@angellmobility.com.

If you would like to renew your Angell Back warranty for a further two years, please contact us atsupport@angellmobility.com.

If your e-bike is stolen despite your vigilance and the built-in security systems, we guarantee to replace your bike.

As soon as we receive a copy of your complaint, to be sent to us by e-mail to support@angellmobility.com within a maximum of forty-eight hours of the theft being reported, we will do everything in our power to recover your bike within a period of 12 days. If, at the end of this period, we are unable to find it, we will replace your bike with a model in equivalent condition, or even an improved one.

If your bike is recovered, we will return it to you as soon as our experts have confirmed the integrity of the essential functions of your e-bike and that no risk of use compromising your safety has been identified. During this period, we will endeavour to provide you with a courtesy bike to make it easier for you to get around while your case is being processed.

Contact us by sending an email to support@angellmobility.com, including all the information needed to effectively diagnose your problem and deal with it quickly (serial number, description of the problem, etc.).

You can also send a request for assistance via the Help section of the MINI E-Bike application if it's a MINI E-Bike, or via the Angell app for all other models.
If necessary, we'll take care of your bike or direct you to the most appropriate partner.

You will not be able to benefit from the Angell Back guarantee if:
- You do not send us a copy of your complaint within 48 hours.
- You have not secured your bike to a fixed point using an approved lock.
- In the case of theft from a private property, there has been no break-in and/or you have not taken reasonable precautions to protect your bike.
- The internal battery was not sufficiently charged for the estimated parking time.
- You did not accept the geolocation function for your bike in the application.
- You have not activated the Alarm function in the application.
- You have misused our application or failed to update it.
- Your bike has been confiscated by the public authorities because you parked it in a prohibited, inappropriate or dangerous place.
- You have made modifications to the bike that would have affected its safety systems.
- You have already made a replacement claim for theft in the previous twelve months.
- You have personal insurance that has compensated you for the theft of your bike.

Maintenance

The bike's electronics are regularly updated. The frequency of servicing depends very much on how you use your bike. We strongly recommend that you have your bike serviced at least twice a year to prevent wear on certain parts or to readjust certain settings: chain tension, hydraulic brake bleeds, tyre pressure, wheel spoke tension, etc. For these standard maintenance operations, we strongly recommend that you have them carried out by a specialist.

If your bike suffers any damage requiring repair, a personalised quote will be provided by our customer service department. Please do not hesitate to contact us via this e-mail address: support@angellmobility.com.

Your e-bike is equipped with two batteries to power all its daily functions. These electronic components are sensitive to temperature variations, especially at low temperatures. Very low temperatures can slow down the functioning of the batteries.

  • The external battery's autonomy is more or less diminished depending on the temperature and the conditions of use.
  • Below zero degrees the internal battery discharges much faster. After a night outside, the internal battery may be completely discharged and will not recharge, even when riding. You will need to keep your bike out of the cold to allow the battery to recharge through the external battery.

    Here are a few precautions to take to protect these electronic components from the cold:
  • If you can, keep your e-bike away from the coldest temperatures.
  • Keep the internal battery level as high as possible. For example, you can place the external battery on the bike before riding (up to several hours) to allow the internal battery to recharge.

In order to optimise performance and autonomy of your external battery, it is programmed to automatically go into sleep mode. This is called “sleep mode” and is set by default to occur after one hour. You can customise this sleep mode, according to your needs, from your app (version 1.4.3 onwards).

To do so, go to settings in the mobile app at the bottom right, select "Preferences" then "Battery Sleep" and select the duration that suits you. Depending on your configuration, battery capacity may be significantly affected. If you choose to remove the sleep mode, your battery will discharge in 72 hours. We recommend that you opt for 2 hours.

Settings and Assistance

When you use the Angell or MINI E-Bike application for the first time, or after updating to version 1.1.11, a new authorisation request will be displayed after your authentication. This authentication is necessary to activate the navigation functionality on your bike. Simply click on the "Always authorise" choice.

If you have not clicked on the correct option, here is how to correct this setting after the fact:

  • On IOS (Apple):
    Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Service, then select "Always".

  • On Android (11 and above):
    On your phone's home screen, look for the application icon.
    Press and hold the application icon.
    Touch Application info.
    Touch Authorisations then Location.
    Select the "all the time" option.

You can restart your e-bike by holding down one of the buttons for 10 seconds.

You can deactivate the alarm function at any time to make it easier to transport or when you are moving it in a vehicle.

If you want to deactivate it, you'll need to open the Angell application (or MINI E-Bike if it's MINI E-Bike 1), then move the ‘Alarm’ button to the left on your bike's page.

We advise to remove the battery and then put it back, as this usually means there is a communication issue between your cockpit and the battery. You can restart your bike by pressing any button for 10 seconds.

It is possible that the buttons were reversed during configuration.
To correct this error, simply go to: Settings (very bottom left of your app tab bar) > Preferences > Button Control. The colours of the circles should match the correct indicators.

Some users have been able to tell us about certain power cuts or front / rear lights. This can be explained by several reasons:

  • Your rear battery is disconnected: in this case a message on the screen of your cockpit will appear saying "connect battery" ; check that you have properly locked your battery on the dock before use.
  • Your bike has suffered an unexpected shock and the engine has cut out.

In both cases, removing and replacing the battery allow the bike to restart its functions.If this does not work, it is possible that your bike or battery has a fault and we ask you to contact us via this email address:

  • When your rear battery is not connected and your bike is unlocked, you can see at the top of the screen the remaining life of your internal battery, used for the bike geolocation and display features.

  • When the rear battery is connected, you will only see the autonomy of your external battery with the number of km relative to the last connected electric assistance program.

When you slide up the screen of your cockpit, you will be able to change the operating mode of your lights between:

  • Always on
  • Always off
  • Automatic (icon with a small a): a sensor on the top of the cockpit allows you to detect the brightness

Since their most recent updates, Apple and Google OS limit the use of data and Bluetooth when your phone is in standby.

It is therefore advisable to activate in your privacy settings: the use of data and Bluetooth for the Angell app or the MINI E-Bike app even when it is running in the background (i.e., as soon as you are not using it, but it is in your pocket during the ride).

All you need to do is be within range of your bike to lock or unlock it using the padlock button on your profile on the Angell app (or MINI E-Bike if it's a MINI E-Bike 1).
